Changing DNS on Android 10.x
- Find Settings.
- Select Connections.
- Select WiFi.
- Select your Wi-Fi network Settings.
- Tap Advanced.
- For IP Settings, tap on DHCP and choose Static.
- Input the BulletVPN DNS servers, DNS 1: 212.32.240.145 & DNS 2: 104.200.137.81. (Please leave the IP address and Gateway without changes).
- Tap Save.
- Restart your device.
Changing DNS on Android 9.x
- Find Settings.
- Select Network & Internet.
- Select WiFi.
- Select your WiFi network.
- Tap Advanced Options.
- For IP Settings, choose Static.
- Tap on the edit icon in the top-right corner.
- Input the BulletVPN DNS servers, DNS 1: 212.32.240.145 & DNS 2: 104.200.137.81
- Tap Save.
- Restart your device.
Changing DNS on Android 8.x
- Find Settings.
- Select Network & Internet.
- Select WiFi.
- Tap and hold the network you want to connect to until a box appears.
- Select Modify Network.
- Tap Advanced Options.
- For IP Settings, choose Static.
- Manually enter your IP address, Gateway, Subnet/Network Prefix Length, using the same values you see in gray. Otherwise, you will not be able to save your settings.
- Input the BulletVPN DNS servers, DNS 1: 212.32.240.145 & DNS 2: 104.200.137.81.
- Tap Save.
- Restart your device.
Changing DNS on Android 5.x
- Find Settings.
- Select Wi-Fi settings.
- Tap and hold the network you want to connect to until a box appears.
- Select Modify Network.
- Tap the checkbox next to Show Advanced Options.
- Manually enter your IP address, Gateway, Subnet/Network Prefix Length, using the same values you see in gray. Otherwise, you will not be able to save your settings.
- Input the BulletVPN DNS servers, DNS 1: 212.32.240.145 & DNS 2: 104.200.137.81
- Tap Save.
- Restart your device.
Changing DNS on Android 4.x
- Find Settings.
- Choose Wi-Fi by actually pressing Wi-Fi.
- Press and hold your network, and a window will open up.
- Choose Modify Network.
- Check the Show advanced options checkbox at the bottom of the screen.
- Set IP settings to Static.
- Manually enter your IP address, Gateway, Subnet/Network Prefix Length, using the same values you see in gray. Otherwise, you will not be able to save your settings.
- Input the BulletVPN DNS servers, DNS 1: 212.32.240.145 & DNS 2: 104.200.137.81
- Press Save.
- Restart your device.
Important
The first step of troubleshooting should always be to restart the device(s) and router. Then check your setup status in your SmartDNS dashboard.
