Turn off Netgear Parental Controls

Some Netgear routers use OpenDNS parental controls, which will interfere with our DNS and make it fail and/or break our service.

There are two ways to turn of Parental Controls.

  1. Log in to http://netgear.opendns.com with the account username and password you used during configuration.
  2. Open the NETGEAR Parental Controls Management Utility from your computer.

Either set the controls to minimal or, better yet, turn off Parental Controls completely.
