How to Block Google DNS on Billion Router

  1. First make sure your router is set to use our DNS. Go to the Basic menu and select WAN. If you don't see our DNS (212.32.240.145 and 104.200.137.81) then uncheck Obtain DNS Automatically and then add DNS servers Primary and Secondary DNS.
  2. Go to Static Routes under Advanced
  3. Click on Configuration
  4. Click on Advanced
  5. Click on StaticRoute and add the following:
    Subnet IP: 8.8.8.8
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway IP: Any valid local IP other than the router itself.
    Interface: LAN/br0
  6. Press Add
  7. Repeat for the Subnet IP 8.8.4.4

Important

First step of troubleshooting should always be to restart device(s) and router. Then check your setup status in your SmartDNS dashboard
