How to Setup Smart DNS on Cisco Router

  1. Find your router's IP. Follow this guide for more information on how to get it.
  2. Open your web browser and enter your router's IP in the address bar.
  3. Log into your router. If you have not set a new username and password, leave the username blank and use admin as a password.
  4. Choose Basic Setup.
  5. Make sure Enable DHCP is selected.
  6. Fill in DNS servers 212.32.240.145 and 104.200.137.81
  7. Save the settings.
  8. Restart router.

The first step of troubleshooting should always be to restart the device(s) and router. Then check your setup status in your SmartDNS dashboard
