How to Setup Smart DNS on Windows 7

  1. Open the Control Panel by clicking on the Start button.
  2. Then click on Network and Internet.
  3. Click on Network and Sharing Center.
  4. Click on Change adapter settings.
  5. Depending on how your computer is connected to the Internet, click either Local Area Connection or Wireless Network Connection ​if connected via Wi-Fi.
  6. Click on Properties.
  7. Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
  8. Check Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
  9. Double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
  10. In the General tab, click on Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the DNS servers in the spaces provided: 212.32.240.145 and 104.200.137.81
  11. Click "OK."
  12. Restart your computer.

The first step of troubleshooting should always be to restart the device(s) and router. Then check your setup status in your SmartDNS dashboard
